The purpose of this page is to provide samples of the various ways you can create cross-browser Dynamic HTML trees using the Tree component. For more details on how to create trees, see the article The JavaScript Tree Component in View Source.
Note: Some of these sample trees are not fully functional tools or applications (wish I had more free time to do that). They're merely hard-coded, theoretical, tree demonstrations of what you can create with the Tree component. For instance, the Mailbox is not a real electronic mailbox, and the File Manager is not a real file management tool - that is, it won't actually physically move your system files, let alone display them.
If you have specific questions, please check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page for the Tree component. I plan to add more samples, as well as update and improve the Tree component based on feedback from developers, so please email me your suggestions regarding this component. If your site uses the Tree component, you can submit your URL for possible posting here in a future update of this page, so that other developers can see and benefit from what you've done.
